Blog 6 - Advisory Prep

Please copy these questions and answer them in your own blog.  Don't forget an image to promote interest.

We'll have a house discussion in place of a research check this Friday to check in on how things are going.

1. What has worked well for you concerning senior project this year?  What has made it a positive experience for you?
Concerning the senior project, the main part that's been working well for me is my time volunteering at the Health Care Partners in El Monte. I enjoy spending time with my mentor, witnessing her help her patients. Plus I am learning a lot of information with each patient that she works with.

2. What are you finding difficult concerning senior project?  How can you adapt to make that portion work better for you?  How might the senior team help?
Concerning the senior project, the main part that I have been having difficult with is making a good essential question and finding more resources I can use for research. A possible way I can make these portions work better for me is possibly asking my uncle for any medical books or journals I could borrow from him. The senior team could help me look over potential essential questions that I have thought up, and then decide which one will be my essential question.

  1. Keep working on the EQ, but don't stress too much with it. It's important not to firm one up too early since it can limit exploration : )
